NRI Krishna returns to his village with his wife and child to work for the upliftment of the village folk. When the family along with Krishna's old father are on their way home with Krishna's hard earned money, fellow villager PR backstabs, kills Krishna and his father for the money and leaves his wife and son behind.

Krishna's son Kranti (Jr. NTR) has grown up now and joins PR's gang to take revenge from him. PR is now head of a huge empire (with his friend Sheshu as partner) and is into all kinds of nefarious activities.
