The entire country's police force is after the dreaded terorrist Barood. But only one investigative journalist (Inder Kumar) manages to discover his whereabouts. For him, tracking down Barood is a personal vendetta as his father was killed by Barood.
When he gives the police, information leading to Barood's arrest, the gang members hunt him down. He manages to escape and takes refuge in a performing girl's (Ayesha Jhulka) house. Meanwhile, in a far away village, a naughty child Kishen is also unaware that his honest army officer father (Suresh Oberoi) was killed by Barood.
When his mother (Renuka Shahane) and he come to Bombay to claim the government prize for his late father, he is kidnapped by Barood. Coincidentally, he arrives at the same house where the journalist is hiding. The film is filled with humour and gags with a healhty dose of action and emotion.
