STAR Gold celebrates the journey of Akshay Kumar to superstardom in the months of September and October.

The Show Details: Akshay Kumar was raised in Delhi's Chandni Chowk neighbourhood before moving to Mumbai. He studied martial arts in Bangkok and worked as a Chef. He made his Bollywood acting debut with the 1991 film Saugandh. Famous for his Khiladi series, he also made a mark in comedy with movies like Hera Pheri, Awara Paagal Deewana, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Garam Masala. In 2007, all the four of his releases being box office successes - the best ever record by any actor.

STAR Gold celebrates this journey of the star from his martial arts days to getting four hit movies in a single year with his complete professional and personal life story.

Main event Chandni Chowk to Mumbai, Journey of a Superstar Event: 25 or 26 Oct. The Host: The whole show will be hosted by Sajid Khan who will take the viewer through this journey of Akshay Kumar.
